• Our 4 studios are equipped with elevated hardwood sprung floors which help reduce the risk of injuries and allow the student to dance longer without getting tired. One studio is also covered in ‘Marley” for Pointe and barefoot work.
  
• Desk staff are available to assist you during teaching hours.
  
• We feature an onsite dancewear store for convenience.
  
• We offer observation windows for viewing in our main studio, and TV viewing in one of our other studios.
  
• 16 years of studio experience and 10 faculty members.
  
• An annual Showcase with 5 tickets included in your Showcase fee, along with a t-shirt for your dancer.
  
• Your Showcase fee also includes costume tights, accessories, a logo garment bag, and all alterations.
  
• Alumni from DanceWorks and Vancouver City Ballet (ballet taught formerly at Danceworks) have gone on to be accepted into many diverse dance programs, including summer intensive and college programs.
  Our students have been accepted into Point Park University, Cornish College Of The Arts, The Julliard School,The University Of Arizona dance programs and also Tremaine Dance Convention Company and Apprentice programs.The Joffrey Ballet school, The Rock School, Steps On Broadway, River North Chicago and Joffrey Jazz Intensive have all accepted DanceWorks students.

Vancouver City Ballet Holds Several Unique Celebrations During The Year:

October – Bring a Friend Week.
Bring your best friend to dance class with you and receive a surprise gift! It’s a party all week in dance class.

December – Dance For A Cure
Enjoy our holiday show with special guests, a raffle, treats, and many more surprises. All proceeds are donated to charity.

May/June – Student Appreciation Day
Our way of saying thank-you for choosing us as your dance studio. Enjoy a fun day of face painting, bouncy house, and treats. We also start pre-registration for Fall on this day.
